Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
WorkRoute is a product of Lobeaux Solutions, L.L.C. ("Lobeaux Solutions", "we", "us"), a limited liability company. We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the WorkRoute service. You can reach us at austin@lobeauxsolutions.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, business name, role.
- Customer & job data you submit: your customers' names, contact details, vehicle/job details, intake form answers, signatures, attachments.
- Support communications: messages you send us via email or in-app.
- Usage & telemetry: log data, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken.
- Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and session management.
Payment data (card number, billing address) is collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., and is not stored on our servers. We receive a limited record of the transaction (e.g. last 4 digits of the card, billing country, amount, subscription status).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Provide the service (contract performance): create accounts, run intake forms and job boards, deliver notifications.
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests / legal obligation): detect abuse, protect accounts, maintain audit logs.
- Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests): respond to inquiries.
- Product improvement (legitimate interests): understand how the product is used and improve it.
- Billing, invoicing, and tax compliance (contract performance / legal obligation): process subscription payments and meet our sales-tax and accounting obligations as the merchant of record.
4. Sharing your data
We share personal data with:
- Service providers / subprocessors — hosting (Supabase / Cloudflare), email delivery, analytics, error monitoring.
- Stripe, Inc. — our payment processor. Stripe processes card payments, calculates sales tax/VAT/GST at checkout, monitors fraud, and handles disputes and chargebacks on our behalf. Lobeaux Solutions, L.L.C. is the seller and merchant of record; Stripe is a service provider that processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the U.S. state privacy laws that apply to you, and the GDPR/UK GDPR where applicable), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email austin@lobeauxsolutions.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; we work to address vulnerabilities promptly when discovered.
8. International transfers
Our service and certain subprocessors operate from the United States. Where personal data of EU/UK residents is transferred outside their region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service (authentication, session) and may use limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
10. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
